To kick off the season, I'm partnering with Hometalk to share a round up of 32 cute, easy, and totally non scary Halloween ideas!
Hometalk is the DIY social media site where you can post, ask questions, and collect DIY ideas all in the same place. My Hometalk page is here, hometalk.com/clevernest.
Let the round up begin!
Ok, these are adorable. How can you refuse these puppy-eyed pumpkin babies from Beauty Through Imperfection? This is a craft that is a great fit for my 3 year old's 10 second attention span and 2 step direction following limit. Perfect!
When I'd thought I'd seen every possible mason jar craft imaginable, Giraffe Legs surprised me with this whimsical and friendly witch! We all have these supplies at the bottom of our craft bin. Can you imagine how cute a whole spooky set of Witch, Ghost, and Pumpkin jars would be?
You've got to one up the 20 other Elsa's on the block. Stuffed Suitcase showed off her spot on Olaf head candy bucket. And the directions make it look not that hard! Know why Elsa always spills her Halloween candy? 'Cause she let it gooooooo! let it gooooooooooooo! ba dum psh.
This is a great one for the slightly older kiddos. You know, the ones that don't think thumbtacks look delicious anymore, and you can trust with a Sharpie. Creating Really Awesome Free Things shared not one, but 2 no cut, no mess pumpkins. Love it!
I can't tell you how much I love her blog name by the way, lol. Did you see that it spells out CRAFT too?!?! Jealous.
Laughing Abi made these cute Owl treat bags. What a great way to portion control the grabby ones that come to your door! You know who you are. You come to my door taller than me, and I'm pretty sure you and your friends are all 21 and over, wearing your regular clothes and maybe a pirate patch to show you tried, gripping sleeping bag size candy bags as you scoop an armful of my candy. Mm hmm. So onto you.
Something cute for the inside! How clever are these Jack O' Lantern pillows from Confessions of a Plate Addict? The felt face pieces are removable for endless swapping. Hello toddler entertainment, I love you.
Electrical tape spider web! Easy to do, easy clean up, big impact decor from My Creative Days! Also handy if you're expecting a tornado or hurricane around Halloween season.
I am in love with this set of wood block ghosts from My Repurposed Life. This would be super fun for kiddos to create their own ghosty faces! Wood blocks, paint, and some scrap vinyl make them easy and cheap! Could I make snow men on the other side?? Ohhhhh!
You Are Talking Too Much shared this little guy, perfect for October 30th when it's down to the wire. Grab a 99 Cent store pumpkin and Mr. Potato Head parts, done!!
That was only 12. Are you ready for more? Make the jump over to my Hometalk board for the rest of my ideas like these! Click on the image or the hyperlink above. See you over there!
